By downloading, installing, or using ImanLock, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ImanLock is a mobile application designed to help Muslims maintain prayer discipline and deepen their faith through technology. The app provides:

  • Prayer streak tracking with Haid mode support
  • Offline Quran reader with audio from 9 reciters

  • Complete Umrah digital guide
  • Salah animation trainer and Wudu guide
  • Tasbeeh counter, Duas, 99 Names of Allah
  • Fasting tracker, Qada tracker, Zakat calculator
  • Qibla compass and nearby mosque finder
  • Islamic calendar with Hijri conversion
  • Home screen widgets

The app is provided "as is" and is intended as a supportive tool, not a religious authority.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring your device meets the technical requirements (iOS 15.0+ or Android)
  • Granting necessary permissions for the app to function
  • Verifying prayer times against trusted local sources for critical religious obligations
  • Using the emergency override system responsibly

4. Prayer Time Accuracy

ImanLock uses the Adhan library for prayer time calculations with 9+ calculation methods. While we strive for accuracy, prayer times are estimates based on mathematical models and your device's location data. We recommend verifying against local mosque times for critical matters.

5. App Locking

The app-locking feature is designed to be a helpful tool, not an absolute barrier. On iOS 16+, it uses Apple's Screen Time API (Family Controls). The emergency override system exists for situations requiring immediate app access. ImanLock is not liable for any consequences of apps being locked during prayer times.

6. Islamic Content

ImanLock includes Islamic educational content sourced from Quran and Hadith references. This content is provided for educational and devotional purposes and should not be considered as a substitute for scholarly guidance.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is fundamental to ImanLock. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for complete details. In summary: all data stays on your device.

8. Intellectual Property

The ImanLock name, logo, and app content are the property of the ImanLock team. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

ImanLock is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
